Remarks & Notes
After running around MN-1, MN-2, and MN-3 in Wassaic yard, Metro-North's Inspection Train is climbing up to track speed as it clears Furnace Bank Rd. Maxon Mills, pictured in the background is a seven-story former wood crib grain elevator and was one of the last active freight customers of the Upper Harlem. The old Wassaic train station was located here when Penn Central still ran trains to Chatham. The current station is located roughly a mile away.
