VL80S electric AC locomotive goes with freight train between Petrozavodsk and Kondopoga in the direction of Murmansk city. The VL80 is a Soviet (and later Russian) built electric AC mainline freight locomotive. The initials VL are those of Vladimir Lenin, after whom the class is named.
