| Squealing flanges and the roar of dynamic brakes disrupt the quiet calm of a winter's morning on the eastern slope of Donner Pass. Running on what was once the #2 track, a pair of older UP AC4400s will soon enter the west portal of tunnel 42 at Andover, before making the decent down into Coldstream Canyon. Nestled down in the valley below is scenic Donner Lake. |
