On Friday night, I ran out to Kansas City to photograph the NS 8099, the Southern Heritage unit, and after it tucked itself away in the yard, my other half and I were heading out to the City Market to grab dinner at the city's resident hockey bar, the Blue Line. Upon arrival in the neighborhood, we came across the brand new streetcar #802 testing up near the City Market at 4th & Grand. Totally lucked into these, but I was happy to finally see these. It was funny, as seemingly every car that went by them was taking pictures with their phones.
I certainly can't wait to shoot these more in the future!
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
