| A CN manifest freight heads west (south) through Black Canyon below Ashcroft, BC in summer-like weather in late September along the Thompson River. It is approaching Basque where westbound CP trains will join CN to use their trackage to Matsqui/Mission City, BC before returning to their own rails. Eastbound trains use CP in that district. CP's mainline can be seen across the river form the train. |
