| 29 miles to Athens: The Gainesville switcher navigates the winding and hilly terrain west of Talmo as they work towards Pendergrass. The forty mile line between Athens and Gainesville was full of activity on the chilly afternoon. Along with this train, a second local was heard in the distance in Pendergrass, and a unit feed train was later seen spotting cars at the mill in Gainesville. |
