"Phase III P32 on Amtrak 288" Amtrak train 288 sits on Track 1 at Poughkeepsie Station waiting for the all clear to continue south towards New York Penn Station. The train consists of P32AC-DM #704, 6 Amfleets and P32AC-Dm #700 trailing on the rear. P32 #704 is the first of Amtrak's P32s to receive the new "Amtrak America" Phase III paint scheme. In addition to the scheme the locomotive also features an "Empire Service" logo on each side. THIS IS NOT A HERITAGE UNIT! All 18 P32AC-DMs will slowly be repainted into this same scheme one by one.
