| The end of an era... The final NS 381, operating as NS train No. 610 makes its final northbound pickup in the small industrial yard of Nitro on the ex-Conrail West Virginia Secondary. As this train rolls north to Point Pleasant and into central Ohio to Columbus, it will signify the end of an era as NS looks to mothball 100 miles of its W.Va. Secondary mainline, rerouting traffic via other routes in the system. |
