| The Deseret Power Ry's empty train returning from the Bonanza Power Plant was 2 or 3 hours late today. This plus the sun angle this time of year limited my shot location for favorable lighting to a nearly north-south stretch of track. There is only one such place to catch an empty train on this RR; MP 1. MP 1 is on about a 1/2 mile stretch of straight track oriented mostly north-south near the eastern end of this line. Bright sun, snow cover and moderate temperatures made for this view as the train rumbled past. |
