Missed it by That Much!

A Santa Fe eastbound, led by Dash 9-44CW 649, rushes past the old, out-of-service Santa Fe passenger station in Riverside, California, on May 22nd, 1994. That lovingly restored Trailways bus parked on what's left of the station's platform? The owner parked it there for a train following this Santa Fe intermodal - a Union Pacific passenger extra led by 4-6-6-4 Challenger 3985, the smoke from which you can see in the distance. Unfortunately, the Santa Fe hotshot blocked the view here of 3985, so it was back in the car to head further east...
