Remarks & Notes
Union Pacific SD70AH No. 8948 leads EMDX SD70ACe-T4 Nos. 1502 and 1503 along with three other UP units on a test train from Denver to Tabernash, Colorado (SDVTN 07) up the 2-percent grade in Coal Creek Canyon on March 07, 2016. The units will go under more testing between Tabernash and Winter Park on Wednesday and Thursday. However, the EMD employees riding the train put one of the units online and the sound of the prime mover is really neat.
