NJ Transit on the NYS&W
While not operating as a revenue passenger train, a lengthy Metro North equipment move passes the Newfoundland Station as it detours over the NYS&W. The detour was happening as a result of Hurricane Irene which devastated 11 miles of track on Metro North's Southern Tier line resulting in equipment moves having to take the NYS&W. |
