Remarks & Notes

A No. 1 train heads uptown on the upper west side of Manhattan having just left the 125th St Station. With this shot, I am taken by how interwoven the subway is with the neighborhood it serves. Also note the 1920's Studebaker logo on the left. This former Studebaker automobile finishing plant was constructed in 1923. It now houses offices of nearby Columbia University.
