Remarks & Notes

The mainline rails here are rusty and silent where once Rio Grande trains thundered out of Minturn, Colorado, attacking the steep grade 3% grade over Tennessee Pass. On August 12, 2015, at the east end of the CTC siding is a flowery view of a main line that hasn’t seen a train since 1997.
