"Throwing the Switch at New Canaan Yard"
The engineer of a deadhead train from New Canaan heading to Stamford throws the switch to align the track so that his train can exit the yard. Once clear of the switch, the conductor at the rear of the train will realign the switch back to it's normal position.
An ongoing and growing collection of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome, but seldom seen beauty of the railroad world because most of us don't get out after sundown. From dusk to dawn, lights are on! (And I continue to find new "Lights In The Night"!)
