BNSF 1870 and others sit near 8th St. in BNSF's Topeka yard Wednesday afternoon. The puddle was left over from the previous night's storms, and was placed awfully nicely for this portrait of the former BN SD40-2 #7810. Interestingly, this one was originally built as the C&S #940 in 1977. It's been in storage in Topeka since at least 2009, but it looks as if its still got some life left in it.
