Remarks & Notes
Clear! After shouting an audible warning, WW&F Engineer Rick Sisson opens the Engineer's side blow-down valve to clear #9's mud-ring of any built-up sediment. After three separate blow-downs lasting perhaps 5 seconds each, Rick and Fireman Jason Lamontagne will back their locomotive up to the water tank in the distance and top off. The crew is preparing #9 for service on the second of two Spring Photo Excursions, operated by the volunteers of the Wiscasset, Waterville & Farmington Railway Museum.
