| On the first trip of the weekend the "Powhatan Arrow" passes along Webster Road and under the Blue Ridge Parkway headed for Lynchburg. The J Class locomotive which was built in 1950 at the N&W Roanoke shops is the star of the show. The passenger train of historic coaches is loaded with railfans and tourists enjoying the chance to step back in time to an earlier, classier period. |
