Some early CSX action is seen here with a southbound train departing Collier yard on the former Atlantic Coast Line. A subtly patched Seaboard System SD40 and an equally-subtly patched SD40-2 are accompanied by a “virgin” B&O SD40-2. Although a crew has been tearing up the Norlina Subdivision, the former Seaboard Air Line main line, northward from Norlina, NC for several months, the rails on the north end are still intact in the background.
