| At Capo Mimosa (near Cervo) the line from Genova to Ventimiglia still runs directly on the coast of the Mediterranean sea. Unfortunately this will end this autumn because e newly built double track line replaces the old one. The new one runs mostly in tunnels.
So last chance to get shots like this. A Eurocity service from Milano Centrale to Nice is passing the place on a beautiful spring morning. Pulled by a E444R locomotive, the train reaches the Italian/French border in less than an hour. |
