Remarks & Notes
After running ten public trips around "The Rock" before an early quit due to lightening, Stone Mountain FP7 6147 cools its heels on the Lacey track overnight. On the left of the frame is the historic "Lacey Hotel," which was actually the house where the warden lived while he watched over the jail, which is now the shop and can be seen between the "hotel" and the train. Both structures were built around the Civil War era in the 1800s and used while the mountain was being quarried for granite, which is now in structures worldwide.
