While we were chasing the MRL Day Gas Local, we overheard on the radio a member of track department get denied a track authority due to a pair of westbounds and an eastbound. In lieu of continuing the chase of the Gas Local, we stopped in Plains, MT and set up shop. After seeing a westbound stop at West Plains, we heard the eastbound in the distance, which was this empty grain heading back to the praries for loading. As it hugs the waters of the Clark Fork River, the train prepares to meet the westbound manifest on the MRL 4th sub.
