Markham was a popular shot among railfans for the 611 trips this past weekend, offering a nice sweeping curve and a S-curve right off of I-66. For the Sunday morning trip I got myself to Markham well ahead of 611, in order to scope out a different angle than the one I (and dozens of other fans) had gotten the day before. I noticed a few trees when leaving Markham for the Saturday trip, so I came back Sunday to see if I could get myself some extra elevation in one of the trees. I wound up climbing about 10 feet up into a tree for a slight bit of added elevation, which I think turned out well.
