| Standing on a beaver dam in Beaver Lake, NJ . A trio of yellow jacket SD60s roll downhill around a curve past the remains of a beaver-made pond. Last year this place was bustling with beaver activity. Freshly fallen trees were scattered about and the pond level was about 3 to 4 feet higher with the water line still visible on the track ballast. This year the beaver dam has been broken and with no signs of the aquatic rodent, they were most likely trapped and removed. |
