BNSF's second bridge over the Pecos River bottleneck at Fort Sumner, New Mexico was scheduled to be placed into service today (July 25, 2016). A little over two months prior westbound QCXOLAC1-13L with 3946/6753/7246, intermodal train from CSX/Chicago to Los Angeles, CA (Hobart Yard), eases across the original Santa Fe span while a fresh pour of concrete hardens on the new bridge.
