Remarks & Notes
Detroit Edison mid-train helpers work a train of empties through Nineveh, Pennsylvania on the Monongahela’s Manor branch. With 140 of DE’s 140-ton hoppers totaling in excess of 19,000 tons, this train will need the 9000 horsepower of these helpers, in addition to the 12,500 hp up front.
