| After receiving word that 218 had one of the NS DC-to-AC conversion units, I made plans to make a day out of chasing the train. I awoke at about 5:00 A.M. and made the trek from Charlotte to Reidsville, where I first caught 218 under the old Southern Railway signals at CP "Edna". Thanks to one of the most friendly crews I've ever seen for a good show! |
