With directional running in the Fraser and Thompson Canyons (eastbound trains traveling on the Canadian Pacific side, westbound trains on the Canadian National side) it's been hard for me to capture this location. I've been waiting for the opportunity where the tail end locomotive is facing east and the lighting is right, but I've never been able to capture it. But in a funny twist... I managed to capture an eastbound on CN's Ashcroft sub! Albeit, it's a work train and the locomotive still isn't facing the proper direction, but it's as close as I've gotten! It even had a caboose... One of my favourite things to see.
