Its a historic day for Metrolink as the company unveiled their newest locomotive - the F125. Helping celebrate this great day for the Southern California commuter railroad company, ATSF 3751 was invited to take part in the equipment display offering elected officials, Metrolink staff and invited guests a chance to see one of the first forms of motive power for passenger trains in person. At the conclusion of the event, San Bernardino Railroad Historical Society (SBRHS) staff proposed to Metrolink the idea of a brief photo session with 3751 on the adjacent track that F125 rested on to offer a "past and present" take on motive power. Immediately agreeing with the idea, 3751's wheels began to turn just after 6 p.m. and was lined into Track 14 for the brief photo session before returning home to Redondo.
