Could this be the RGS at the Lizardhead snow shed in 1949?The remains of the snowshed at Cumbres and the weed grown wye track provide a reasonably good imitation of the old RGS, given it is over 60 years later. The Colorado Railroad Museum's restored RGS 7 is a neat looking machine with its Pierce Arrow body, and it performed flawlessly on its long treks as a guest of the C&TS. I notice the engine hood is being held open a crack with a block of wood, presumably for a bit of additional cooling....just like something the RGS would have done.
