| One of my favorite experiences of my recent California trip was at a vantage point high on the rocks to the northeast of the famous Keddie Wye. Just after 8 A.M., UP's Canyon Crawler eases out onto the bridge with a short train consisting of four loads of lumber behind a pair of clean SD59MX's. The Crawler would meet a BNSF freight just down the canyon at Paxton so that within a span of about 30 minutes, I was lucky enough to catch trains coming and going on both legs of the wye. |
