Remarks & Notes 
Westbound through the Columbia Gorge, a hot BNSF Z-train is approaching Home Valley. Around the curve, the rear of the train is still passing the site of the Collins Slide, a particularly unstable mountainside that requires constant attention from railroad and highway personnel. A UP stack train can be glimpsed across the Columbia on the Oregon shore.
