Only treats from the Lehigh Valley on Halloween 1974. My dad came to my school for the Halloween parade (I was in kindergarten), and we went out to take some train pictures before trick-or-treating that evening. We found NE-1 at South Plainfield and chased ahead to Manville. This was near the end of double track and we were greeted with eastbound Mercury-2 first before NE-1 stormed past. It wasn't time to trick-or-treat, yet...we went to Bound Brook after this picture to photograph Mercury-2 interchanging with the CNJ. R.T. Steinbrenner Photo
