As a child nothing could beat hearing the sound of an approaching train off in the distance and now that I'm grown, well that inner child just comes right back out! Only today it was two fold as I caught the SVRR in the B&O #6512 inner changing with Chesapeake & Western. Here they are passing the old Pleasant Valley Depot which was once a very prominent passenger stop for the B&O. Passengers no longer change or board trains here but this is still an active spot to see two RR's working together. Now if NS would only bring back a Chesapeake & Western engine, this ole boy would just be a big ole kid again!
