Back in 2009 the BNSF was taking delivery of new 6300's series units. Here a westbound coal train has 11 units, 7 of them brand new units probably heading to Alliance for setup. The train passes the colorful wildflowers that grown in August thru out the Nebraska Sandhills. This train came out of Eola, IL, off the EJ&E, and is bound for Decker Mine, MT, for loading.
