CHEYENNE WY Oct-Nov 1971 -- My first real trip taking pictures of trains included a visit to my sister in Cheyenne. I was using an Argus rangefinder and handheld light meter both of which I had recently purchased used. When I got to the roundhouse area I didn't have a clue what I was seeing when I took this picture of gas turbine no. 7. Absolutely no one noticed me as I wandered around taking photos or my wife waiting patiently in the car.
