Remarks & Notes
Being chased by a cloud shadow, BNSF 7122 leads an empty oil train upgrade at Crater Lake just east of Trinidad Loop on its 16 mile climb out of the Columbia River valley up to Quincy, WA on the former Great Northern mainline. this line is used for intermodal/stack trains, Amtrak's Empire Builder, vehicle and Boeing trains as well as empty oil, coal and grain trains. Volume varies, but lately has been fairly busy and can top out with over 20 trains a day.
