Remarks & Notes

UP 8444 (now 844) gets some TLC during its overnight layover at La Grande, OR. The train came east from Portland and in the morning will head back with a stop at the Pendleton Roundup. UP 844 is the only active team locomotive in the U.S. that has never been retired.
