NS 198 holds off all the crossing in downtown Sylacauga, Alabama as a signal maintainer works to get a track light fixed up the line a few miles. This Southern search light signal has seen many a train through town over the years and with new signals being installed daily, it's to see this one standing tall still!
Taking a look at the same train and scene as captured by different photographers. The best way to view will be to sort by photo date so the photos are grouped together.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
