It's not everyday you watch a steam locomotive take the backroads of West Virginia to reposition itself for a series of new excursions. That's exactly what happened with the Durbin & Greenbrier Valley Railroad and Cass Scenic Heisler No. 6 this year. The locomotive was moved via truck from Cass, W.Va., to Durbin, W.Va., where it pulled the Durbin Rocket excursions for much of 2016 while Climax No. 3 is undergoing restoration in Cass.
