Good for 20? In the wake of Hurricane Matthew, several washouts disrupted rail service on primary and secondary routes for CSX Transportation, Norfolk Southern and neighboring short lines. Here, while on an assignment for Trains Magazine, we see a washout near downtown Fayetteville, N.C., on CSX's Fort Bragg Spur. It took crews about 48 hours after this photo was taken for the washout to be completely fixed.
