Remarks & Notes
Just several hours before being shifted to the NS interchange at Gastonia on the morning of December 29, 2016, SLRG F7As 578 and 576 stand in Ranlo, North Carolina with their weathered Lehigh Valley attire. The pair is routed to Memphis, Tennessee for the coming days where they will be turned back over to Iowa Pacific for repairs and storage. The set arrived on the Piedmont & Northern on December 1st for Christmas train duties but, afterwards it was deemed they were not operable.
