| "Long Island Wreck Extra at East New York" LIRR Wreck Extra 100 awaits the signal at East New York on the Atlantic Branch on it's way to Hillside Yard. Wreck Exta 100 is tasked with transporting the damaged M7 pair (7553/7554) of the train that ran into the bumper block a week prior with a SW1001 on either end. This is the first time diesels have traversed the Atlantic Branch in over a decade. |
