Remarks & Notes

On loan from the Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Company, former Monson Railroad #3 was a major attraction for the "Maine Two-Foot Winter" event hosted by the Wiscasset Waterville and Farmington Railway. The locomotive was built in 1913. In this image number 3 climbs a section of track known as "The Ladder" before stopping in Alna Center.
