Remarks & Notes
Because of a derailment in the Cascades, the northbound Coast Starlight was going to terminate at Klamath Falls. On a cold morning before any buses arrived, Amtrak decided to wye the train at Texum siding, junction with the Modoc Line, before going to the depot. After the train was turned, it backed up the mainline past the depot, and then lined into a yard track directly in front of the station. So, for one day only, the northbound Coast Starlight arrived at Klamath Falls - from the north!
