Lumbering down what remains of Santa Fe's Second District of their former Los Angeles Division BNSF's westbound Pasadena Local is bound for the Milller-Coors brewery in Irwindale, CA. While en route to the brewery the local, led by a solid set of former Santa Fe power still in proper colors, is surrounded by memories of the railroad's illustrious past in southern California. From the jointed rails and wooden ties to the old US&S color light signals, including the last 'still active' Santa Fe cantilever in the state of California, the old Second District offers a welcome 'look back' to a near gone era of railroading in the Golden State.
