Tucked away in the Arizona desert near Benson is a spur with a long deadline of locomotives - reportedly, almost 300 of them stretching for about three miles! An assortment of EMD (SD60Ms) and GE (Dash 8-40Cs, Dash 8-40CWs and Dash 9-44CWs) diesels can be found here, with UP Dash 9-44CW 9796 (the former Chicago & North Western 8692) on this end. And, in case you're wondering, this area may be remote, but it is actively patrolled!
