BNSF train L-CAL0111-13 is a local heading from Barstow to Kaiser (Fontana), California. The six locomotives powering this train (SD70ACe 9041 and ES44DCs 7703, 7716 and 7713 - with ES44DCs 7719 and 7700 on the rear) are needed to help this train climb the grade here at Frost, just south of Victorville, where the westbound mainline crosses over the eastbound main. Of course, with Cajon Pass as a barrier between Barstow and Fontana, all this horsepower will be needed to climb the grade of this fabled crossing. (February 13, 2017)
