A Fox River Valley Railroad freight heads northbound through Kewaskum, Wisconsin, on March 25, 1990, led by the road’s two EMD SD24s Nos. 2401 and 2402, as well as former Southern SD35 No. 2500. This portion of Chicago & North Western’s “Air Line” from Milwaukee to Fond du Lac (and eventually Green Bay) is abandoned from just south of West Bend to Eden and is the Eisenbahn State Trail.
