| This handsome 2-6-2 T "Prairie" steamlocomotive was built in 1912 by the Swiss Locomotive and Machine Works (SLM) in Winterthur for the Mittel-Thurgau-Bahn (MThB). It is now owned and operated by association historic Mittel-Thurgau-Bahn (VHMThB) and based in Romanshorn. Here it is standing on the turntable in Wil (SG), on the occasion of the "Winterdampf" train from Nesslau via Wattwil-Wil-Weinfelden to Romanshorn. |
